Know your government department (CEC,CAG and UPSE)

Chief Election Commission(CEC): CEC is Appointed by President of India. The First chief election commission of India is Sukumar sen. Genesis of chief election commission in 25 jan 1950. Due to this 25 January is celebrated as National voter day from 25 January 2011. chief election commission of India are Dr. Nasim Zaidi . Term length of CEC is 6 years.
Present Chief Election commission of India Om Prakash Rawat since 23 January 2018.
Comptroller and Auditor general(CAG): Comptroller And Auditor General is mentioned in the Constitution of India under Article 148-151. Present CAG of india is Shashi Kant Sharma And period of service is 6 years and 65 years . The first CAG of india is V. Narahari Rao (1948-1954). His is also honoured by Padam  Bhushan award in 1954.This department Audit all receipts and Expenditure of state and Centre departments. The current CAG of India is Rajiv Mehrishi, who assumed office on 25 September 2017.
 
UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) : In  1 October 1926 upsc introduced under articles 315-323 of part XIV of constitution of india .HQ of UPSC id Dholpur shahjhan road, new delhi. First chairman of UPSC is Sir Ross barker. The member of UPSC is appointed by president of india. And recruitment under upsc is under article 320.
