1)Gaudy:: very large or impressive, too bright and heavily decorated.
Eg: The showgirls were gaudy costumes.
2)Acclaim:: To praise something in a very strong and enthusiastic way.
3)Bow out:: Lose, Fall.
4)Ruckus:: A noisy argument, fight etc.
