1)The National Health Mission engaged
with Five analytics firms as part of a pilot scheme to detect fraud in Pradhan
Mantri jan Arogya Yojana(PMJA) . This five
analytics team work on some important areas ie.
a) unusual activity in
hospitals,
b)Any aberrant trends in
pre-authorised surgeries.
c)unusual numbers of claims
from particular areas. Etc.
Brief about PMJA(Pardhan
Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana also known as Ayushman Bharat Yojana) .This scheme started in September 2018 which
cover approx 10 crore families with health cover of 5lakh each.
1) Under the ambit of Ayushman Bharat, a Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana
(PM-JAY) to reduce the financial burden on poor and
vulnerable groups arising out of catastrophic hospital episodes and ensure
their access to quality health services was conceived. PM-JAY seeks to
accelerate India’s progress towards achievement of Universal Health Coverage
(UHC) and Sustainable Development Goal - 3 .
2) It will
have offer a benefit cover of Rs. 500,000 per family per year (on a family
floater basis).
3) PM-JAY will
cover medical and hospitalization expenses for almost all secondary care and
most of tertiary care procedures. PM-JAY has defined 1,350 medical packages
covering surgery, medical and day care treatments including medicines,
diagnostics and transport.
4) All
families listed in the SECC database as per defined criteria will be covered
5) Cashless and
paperless access to quality health care services , so that citizen easily
access government scheme benefit .
2) HP became latest state to
implement 10% quota for EWS from general category for HP government recruitment
in Group A,B,C and D posts. Before HP , Gujarat also implemented same in state
level recruitment.
