In this page we cover some important events of modern hostory of india which are very important for ssc cgl and upsc point of view .So please read with proper attention and also share my blog .So that I will post more blogs from different topics. 1)In which year IPC came into force :-1862 IPC(indian penal code was given in 1834 under charter act 1833 under the chairmanship of Lord maculay. In 1860 Indian penal code was drafted and in 1862 IPC was came into force. 2) First time election in india introduced under which act :- Under govt. Of india act 1909 or morly minto reforms. In 1909 act communal elctorate was introduced by morly minto reform. So here we start, There are two international Organization for wetlands . 1) Ramsar convention for Wetlands 2) Montreux Record. Ramsar Convention :-   a)It is an intergovernmental treaty for wetlands. This convention provides framework for national and international cooperation for conservation and sustainable development of wetlands. b) It is named after Iran city Ramsar in which treaty was signed in 2 February 1971 .       Modern History notes 1) Jyotirao Govindrao Phule (11 April 1827 – 28 November 1890), also known 11 April 1827 – 28 November 1890), also known as Jotiba Phule was an Indian social activist, a thinker, anti-caste social reformer and a writer from Maharashtra. 1). On 24 September 1873, Phule, along with his followers, formed the Satyashodhak Samaj (Society of Seekers of Truth) to attain equal rights for people from lower castes. 2)The couple was among the first native Indians to open a school for girls of India. 3)In 1848, aged 23, Phule visited the first girls' school in Ahmadnagar, run by Christian missionaries. It was also in 1848 that he read Thomas Paine's book Rights of Man and developed a keen sense of social justice. To this end and in the same year, Phule first taught reading and writing to his wife, Savitribai, and then the couple started the first indigenously-run school for girls in Pune. In his book Gulamgiri, Phule says that the first school was for brahm...

Modern History notes 1) Kakori Conspiracy (or Kakori train robbery or Kakori Case) was a train robbery that took place between Kakori and, near Lucknow, on 9 August 1925 during the Indian Independence Movement against the British Indian Government. The robbery was organised by Hindustan Republican Association (HRA). Person who associated with this crime was ram parsad bismil and ashfaqullh khan. This conspiracy   was first crime of HRA(Hindustan Republic Association).
